Freight broker
You are responsible to establish, maintain and develop your existing customers and prospect for new ones. As a Freight Agent you will have a high volume of customer interaction, including prospecting, cold- calling, qualifying and
closing deals.
You will continuously cultivate relationships with customers and carriers.
Responsibilities:

Match authorized and reliable transportation carriers to the shippers and coordinate the shipping needs for many companies.

Cultivate an expcetional customer relationship with new and existing customers

Prospect to build a pipeline, including cold-calling

Track and trace customer shipments and notify the appropriate parties

Follow-up and coordination between customers and carriers

Collaborate with your team and maintain harmonious working relationship

Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in logistics marketplace.
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in logistics and sales in the transportation industry or a verified book of business

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
