Sales Associate GSA

You are highly motivated Government Sales Specialist who will be responsible to increase our sales utilizing our GSA contract, and through your experience in selling to government agencies and contractors. You can demonstrate a passion for the brand, product and services solutions knowledge and you can quickly develop product and solution expertise in key areas such as technology, furniture, with a general understanding of copy and print. You will be responsible for engaging and providing an exceptional customer service experience to customers that include the major government agencies, U.S. military, schools and hospitals.

Responsibilities:

• Direct Sales Efforts to identify sales opportunity with focus on government and military.
• Generate new customers across.
• Generate new sales opportunities with utilizing company GSA schedule
• Create and maintain proposal and contract documents relative to government/GSA schedule, projects, and contracts
• Serve as a company representative at major industry events, conferences, and/or trade shows as well as online organizations.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of office furniture or office supplies market
• 3+ years Government Sales Experience
• Strong existing relationships in the Government arena, as well as a strong track record of new business development
• Sound understanding of government and GSA contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests
